Wedding Belles Grand Slam Bridal Awards

All the strategic planning that gives Wedding Belles its success was been recognised by the Wedding Industry this week when Wedding Belles was awarded ‘Best Retail Marketing Award’ at the Bridal Buyer Awards 2005, Harrogate.

Diane Roberts knew that the judging criteria were high. It included: demonstrating a clear understanding of the importance of branding; best use of materials available; a clearly defined campaign with precisely targeted objectives and a proven ability to co-ordinate promotional activities with those of suppliers.

The judges commented, “The best bridal shop in the world will not survive if people don't know it exists. Wedding Belles seems to be doing everything right to encourage brides to come through its doors including immaculate branding and appropriate advertising.”

Diane says, “We had a fantastic evening, after our success winning the award for ‘Best Web Site Design’ in 2003, ‘Best Window Display’ in 2004 and ‘Best Retail Marketing Award’ in 2005 it feels like we have completed the grand slam!” Wedding Belles are the first company to win three awards in a row at the Bridal Buyer Awards.

This past year Diane has placed her brand at the centre of her marketing activity. Wedding Belles’ logo, packaging, stationery and web site have all been re-branded. Diane says, “Keeping the business under constant scrutiny and finding ways to improve Wedding Belles gives me my enthusiasm for the business.”

Central to Diane’s marketing plan is the care provided to every bride. “We hope that we are successful in attracting brides by providing them with their dream dress and a caring service,” says Diane.
