Invitations

The normal way to invite people to your wedding is by printed invitation. You need to settle on a guest list before choosing your stationery and arranging for it to be printed, well in advance of when you intend to issue the invitations. Normally invitations are sent out around 8 weeks before the event although earlier is quite acceptable; don’t leave it much later as you need to leave time for your guests to reply. There are certain conventions for the wording of invitations, depending on who is hosting the wedding and their own circumstances.
